Seafaring 05:50
Unsold, unbold, eyes bleeding. I'm in a chokehold and I'm half buried in the snow. Stepped into the night like a hot fuse ready to pop. Fell onto a sharp sword, waiting for blood to stop. I wanna say we made it this far. I used to believe it only goes this far. I'll give the credit where it's due. I'll give the credit to you. Your friction throws the spark that sets my heart on fire. And you spill love like firewater—drink up. A lime green you only see deep south. And decades old tile lyin' like lies in my mouth. The television's snow white—and blinking your name. And a half empty glass drinks a toast to the game. I'll give the credit to you. And you'll take all of it too. Carefully, careful. Half full? Is it empty or half full? Careful. I've been away such a long time lady—standing on the edge of the world. You spill our love out like water lady—still I'll give the credit to you. I've been away such a long time. SEAFARING lyrics by Mike McCutcheon & Jamie Fillmore music by MCG c. 2010

Pirate 03:30
Last time, you said forget about the first time Get it to go— Nowhere. Just stay far from where the sun is always shining. First time, you said to think about the last time Get it and go— Nowhere. Just stay far from where the sun is always shining. (And that's why you'll never know me, Love.) You were wrong: * When you said that where there's fire there is always light You were wrong: * When you said it will not happen to us over night. So come on— * Blow a wish a kiss and kindly walk the other way, So c'mon... * So much to do, so much to see, but not so much to say. You were right! * When you said that where there's trouble there is also light You were right! * When you said it will not happen to us overnight. So c'mon. PIRATE { words by Jamie Fillmore | music by MCG | c. 2010 }

And if I burned to ashes, by the will of my own hands Could I stop this sensation—of constant restlessness? So that I might endure— the way time passes slowly an instant that bores me 'til I run away. And if time weren't so endless would I stay? Would I stay in that instant, would I still feel like running? And find you in that capsule that's waiting— That's waiting for time to stand still. There's more to each day than chasing and racing Against hopeless minutes that keep finding my refuge. Maybe hope lies in patience—to recognize the treasure of a few things that capsize the boundaries of time. But that same old grandfather clock hangs in the corner of my room As a constant reminder that I'll never be satisfied While standing still. And in your eyes, the hours are more senseless than before. As they cheat us of words like forever and always— that we can't comprehend. Like putting faith in tomorrow—and we forfeit our chances Losing time being angry at time. GRANDFATHER CLOCK words by Caitlin Strokosch with Jamie Fillmore music by Jamie Fillmore c. 1995

At 27, time to die. The Most Patient Man in Baseball. And The Most Patient Man in Baseball knows When your time arrives: You step up to the plate; await your pitch; and swing. The New York Giants, the Brooklyn Dodgers Saw something in him. But Len Koenecke traded up For quarts of whiskey and rye. He played it out—in his outfield. He wanted out. But back in Baraboo, Wisconsin at the Circus World Museum Len Koenecke knew those wagons weren't for him. And a railway fireman ain't to proud to take a plane. Or have his lights put out by what you'd use to kill a fire. And The Most Patient Man in Baseball knows When your time arrives: You step up to the plate; await your pitch; and swing. Wait for it, wait for it... wait for it. Wait for it, wait for it... wait for it. Wait for it, wait for it... wait for it. Wait for it, wait for it... wait for it. Wait for it, wait for it... wait for it. Wait for it, wait for it... wait for it. LEN KOENECKE #1 { words by Jamie Fillmore | music by MCG | c. 2010 }

Another Rip Van Winkle summer's gone by like a lover left at the door. And my heart's left out my chest like it don't wanna be in there no more. It's after the Girls of Summer have gone and the Falling has begun. Each and every one. Jump on the back of a heart that's moving and go, go, go. Find your way back to a heart that's beating and go, go, go. Just go. I could've kissed you with a vengeance —in lights the night turned way down low. I could've held you in that darkness —made your body shake and glow. Will you ever know? Jump on the back of a heart that's ready to go, go, go. Jump in the back of a car that's moving and go, go, go. Just go. Summertime can make you feel so young (so old) Summer Sun can make me feel so cold (so warm) Summertime can make me feel so old (so young) Get me outta here I feel so young (so old) Hit me on the back with a baseball bat so warm (so cold). Get me the hell away from here... Another Rip Van Winkle summer's gone by like a lover left at the door. And my heart leapt out of my chest like it don't wanna be in there no more. It's after the Girls of Summer have gone and the Falling has begun. Climb on the back of a heart that's beating and go, go, go. Jump in the car gas it up, down-shift and go, go, go. Just go. THEME FROM IRON VIPER (The Feelgood Hit of Winter) 10W30/10W31, WHATEVER IT TAKES IN THE SEA, AN IRON VIPER SUMMERSONG (JUST GO) { words by Jamie Fillmore | music & titles by MCG | c. 2010 }

Funny. When we were young the things that mattered Could break or shatter The world in a day. Girls could talk about guys for hours. Their graceful powers would keep us [away/awake] But people— Have ways of growing old. Stories that we hold Are legends now. Falling forward, looking back Falling forward, looking back. Thinking. About the way things happen. And the way they had been But aren't now. Funny. Because the things that matter Still break or shatter Either way. Falling forward, looking back. Falling forward, looking back. And this is where he lives And this is where he falls to pieces Laughing at things she'll never see [Dreaming of things he'll never see] And this is how it is: When all the colors come together, It's black And you can never go back. Falling forward, looking back. FALLING FORWARD { words by Jamie Fillmore | music by MCG | c. 2010 }

about

At the battle Dan-no-ura, the fallen Heike samurai warriors and their Shogun leader drowned and were transformed into crabs. To this day, these Heikegani crabs roam the depths of the oceans around Japan, searching for the lost heirlooms of their empire.

MCG has an album called Shogun. They do not have crabs.
